Sixteen years of design, governance, and entrepreneurship across Nigeria. The architect who refused to stop at buildings.
Meet Chukwudi Anthony Ezenwa. Architect by training. Entrepreneur by instinct. Builder of systems that protect communities, move economies, and create lasting value across Africa. What started on the drawing boards of Nnamdi Azikiwe University has grown into seven companies, operations in twelve states, and a track record that governments, institutions, and investors take seriously.
Three chapters. One through-line: every company solves a problem he saw firsthand and refused to leave unaddressed.
The story starts at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where Chukwudi studied architecture and discovered a conviction that has never left him: the most powerful designs solve real problems for real people. That principle became the foundation for everything he has built since.
After graduating, he worked as a project architect in Abuja, sharpening his eye for detail and his instinct for what construction sites actually need. But he saw gaps everywhere: buildings without security, communities without infrastructure, talented creators without distribution. He took notes.
In 2019, he founded GSS Security Limited with a single team in Awka. Today it is the largest private security firm in South-East Nigeria, deploying over 2,000 personnel across twelve states with ISO-SEC international affiliation.
That same year, he co-developed Dubai Estate, Awka: a 60-hectare smart residential city that grew 10x in value in five years. Through Sliding Towers Limited, he has delivered mega-scale construction for seven state governments. Through TechGuard, he is building intelligent security hardware for the African market. Through SoundMuve, he is distributing African music to 174 countries.
He does not run companies for the sake of scale. Every venture is a node in a larger system: security protects the communities his construction company builds in; technology products monitor the estates his real estate ventures develop; entertainment and finance extend the same infrastructure logic to culture and capital.
In 2026, he was appointed Chairman of Achina Microfinance Bank, extending this systems-level thinking into financial inclusion. The next chapter is governance at scale: smart cities, state-level planning, and the Anambra Economic Free Trade Zone master plan.
Begins professional career on commercial and residential builds across the FCT. Learns the construction pipeline from procurement to handover.
Launches the security firm that will become South-East Nigeria's largest. Co-develops a 60-hectare smart city in Awka that delivers 10x land value appreciation in five years.
Founds the construction and design firm that will deliver landmark infrastructure for seven state governments. Launches Outbox Media Experience for brand and content.
Co-founds TechGuard (IoT security), joins SoundMuve as COO/Africa, completes MSc Architecture, leads C&C Projects real estate portfolio, and is appointed Chairman of Achina Microfinance Bank.
Over a decade of entrepreneurship, the work has been recognised by institutions, industry bodies, and communities across Nigeria.
